A vintage 17” English Beech jack plane & Aaron Hildick iron retailed through Osborn& Co Southampton, presented in clean used condition.

The beech body has a lovely aged appearance and colour.

Marked Osborn & Co Southampton - Osborn were a retail store in Southampton.

This example has had a neat sole insert added at some point in its history to close up the mouth & keep it in service.

Fitted with a thick tapered Arron Hildick 2.1/4” iron and a brass fitted back iron.
