Circa mid 1800s

An early S J ADDIS JUNr  1.7/16" straight woodcarving gouge presented in clean used condition.

Has usagE & oxidisation marks commensurate to its considerable age, the octagonal handle is split in several places.

Note - the S J ADDIS JUNr imprint suggests a date of 1841 to 1853.
