A vintage Alex Mathieson & Son single bead boxed beechwood moulding plane presented in clean used condition.

A very nice clean example, fitted with a good working length cutter. 

Toe is impressed with crisp makers marks with the Mathieson crescent trade mark, heel impressed with faint 3/8 as well as previous owners marks.

 Has usage & wear marks commensurate to its considerable age.
