Circa mid to late century 

Vintage Stanley No. 4 bench smoothing plane presented in clean used condition.

This example has brass fittings & an original Stanley cutter with a reasonable working length remaining.

Rear handle is hard synthetic, front knob is a wooden later replacement.

Has usage and oxidisation marks commensurate to it’s considerable age.

Making easy shavings on pine board as shown.
