An antique Stanley USA Bedrock 604 1/2 plane presented in clean authentic condition.

Fitted with a Stanley Rule & Level New Britain cutter with a good working length remaining.

Frog seats on two grooves on the plane bottom & secured via two pins at the rear as opposed to normal Stanley internal screws. Has the earlier smaller 1" brass adjustment wheel.

Rrar handle has historic repairs in three places, however feels secure. Small chip to the lever cap. The base has a casting mark along one edge, however not detracting from the plane in use.

Overall a lovely user, making crisp thin shavings on pine board.
