Vintage 22” Beechwood Jointer Plane & Robt Sorby Sheffield 2.1/2” Cutter

Circa estimated early to mid century 

A vintage 22” beechwood jointer plane & Robert Sorby iron presented in clean used condition.

Fitted with a thick tapered Robt Sorby 2.1/2” cutter and a brass fitted back iron. Cutter has some oxidation pitting, mostly on the front, a little on the bevel side, however cutter has plenty of length to grind past.

This plane appears to have seem little use, possible a little surface worm damage on one side so has been treated as a precaution, some marks commensurate to its considerable age.
