A vintage John Shaw & Sons Wolverhampton Governor Brand 17" beechwood jack plane presented in clean used condition.

Fitted with a tapered 2 ⅛" Governor cutter & brass fitted back iron.

A faint however readable makers impressed mark on the heel.

Has usage marks commensurate to its considerable age, some crowning marks to the front, can detect some very faint movement of the handle.

Making reasonable shavings on pine board.
