An antique carpentry 17 inch jack plane & 2.1/2 inch Governor iron presented in clean authentic condition.

The beechwood body has a lovely aged appearance and colour with an enclosed handle.

Fitted with a tapered Governor John Shaw & Son Sheffield cutter.

The sole has had a wear plate inserted to close up mouth from wear, neatly executed with dowel pins.

This example has usage and wear marks commensurate to its considerable age.
